What can you expect from our courses
Once you arrive at Chitose International airport you become part of the family ( Candidates and Coaches ), with transfers, accommodations, lift passes, training and support provided to make your stay in Niseko a fun, fulfilling experience.
The Academy pioneered Instructor training courses in Japan. We live in Japan and take an active role in all the training and as hosts we try to do everything possible to make your course and your stay enjoyable .
Over the weeks of your course you will train 4 or 5 days a week ( depending on the course ) with plenty of time to enjoy the resort and surrounding area on your days off.
Our goal is to help you become the best Skier/Rider you can be in the time available and to teach highly effective professional lessons.
To achieve this we will work on your basic stance and then specific skills based development to bring you up to the required certification standards.
A step by step approach to teaching , will give you a great foundation to be able to present fun, safe , effective lessons.
Instruction in Backcountry and ski area safety, avalanche awareness, and equipment tuning, will give you the skills to make you a well rounded professional instructor with employment potential around the world.
